Pastor Mack Mason
Whenever Pastor Mack Mason takes the pulpit, he becomes another
man - a Man of God. All at once, this otherwise mild mannered,
friendly gentleman becomes God's bold prophet as he "speaks
forth" with power and authority. He faithfully teaches the
Word with simplicity, as a caring shepherd feeds his sheep.
This passionate evangelist ministers with a heart that bleeds
for the lost. Since preaching his first sermon on December
9, 1985 - his ministry has made a tremendous impact upon pastors
and churches in the US and overseas.
Mack Mason was licensed to preach in 1988 at Prayer Garden
COGIC, where he grew up under the pastorate of his grandfather,
the late Bishop John O. Mason. In 1989 he was ordained by
the late Bishop Isaiah Leon Roberts, who then sent him as
interim minister to Resurrection COGIC in Kewanee, IL (a drive
of 300 miles from Chicago, each Sunday for two years). Presently
he is serving as pastor of Faith Family Fellowship, as 2nd
Vice President of Missions for Church of God in Christ Northern
Illinois Jurisdiction and has ministered in two crusades in
Trinidad in 2000 & 2001. He is also a member of the Ordination
Board under Bishop Cody V. Marshall. Pastor Mason is the author
